A guest, identified as Jason E., was playing the Wheel Of Fortune Triple Red 7’s slot machine when he hit the progressive jackpot to win $185,216.42 on Feb. 15.
Jason says the win came less than five minutes after he sat down at the machine.
The magazine explained how the radio worked, with the machines recently popping up in Philadelphia stores: This slot machine made its appearance recently in Philadelphia and consists of a five-tube radio frequency receiver, having one stage tuned R.F., one stage of fixed R.F., detector and two stages of audio frequency amplification.
“When I realized I won, I was shocked. I didn’t know how I won or how much, but first I thank the Lord above,” said Jason. “I love coming to Valley View, my brother brings me here every time I’m in town, which I really enjoy.”
